Now, after reading posts on amazon and the torque wiki, it seems that some of these interfaces are using some "chinese" elm327 chips - the original canadian chip costs ~$20 on its own, then you don't have a connector, PCB or a bluetooth chip yet. So I am not yet ready to waste R320, and it seems that the only interface that works well is in the region of $180, which is too much to pay for this. What I am busy doing is getting things together to build my own interface, which will be part of my bluetooth audio integration and will be permanently fixed in the car...

Only the OBD2 layer. But it could still have useful info. I've found an adapter for R150, I am willing to risk it, seeing as it gets good reviews...

Hi please let me know about it cause i was gonna get one from a supplier in Pretoria for R250!

A bluetooth OBD2 connector that is compatible with torque?

I am going to order probably this weekend, but it is coming from Hong kong, and I have never had much luck with them and customs, so I don't expect anything soon.
