That would be a great idea, can the forum admin add in a poll?

The 507 is most gorgeous....I will admit! I also appreciate the Z8, which was based on the 507 lines. Hendrik Fisker designed the Z8, he is the founder of Fisker Automobile, the company which built the Fisker Karma, luxury EV.

I compiled my list based on aggressive design rather than beautiful lines.

Guys please submit or rank your 5 as well.........:skit:

This is by far away BMW best moment in vehicle design. In my mind the E92 335i looked even better than the M3 of the same generation.

Dirtydeed that is a strong statement

Look at that line that cuts the car in half from the taillight past the fuel tank cover to the door handle and rests nicely on the wheel arch just barely touches the wheel arch. Then the slopping rear from the shark fin to the back of the car. the blunt edge on the boot where the slop of the roof ends and the back of the car begins. How the lines sweep to the sides of the car to make another beautiful cut just under the windows and the side mirrors on to the bonnet to give a wide look of the front which was later copied into the AUDI A5. :blowheart:

Those tailpieces, those magnificent tailpipes. Sticking from the rear end out of that black bumper shinning stainless steel to give contrast of colors and make the bumper look even more appealing. Those taillights, that one red. So translucent it looks like a boiled sweet.

Then the way it sits (What the youth are calling STANCE these days) the dimensions of the whole thing and how compact, cute and yet violent and sexy it is.

This is it. :praise: This is the best work BMW did before the F30 and F10 design

I also love the E92 shape styling and agree with the below mentioned by Dirtydeedsman. The E92 has its own uniqueness over the E90, whereas the F30
and F32 appeared much more similar with the F32 having a much lower roofline
over the sedan. The shape is best appreciated in the metal to understand the
uniqueness. You can tell they (E90 & E92) where styled by different teams. Also the cutline on the side flanks creates different shading in light, as there is a bend in the metal rather than just a line running across the side of the the car. In M-Sport trim it looks as fresh as ever, timeless. Lets see in another 5 years.......
