503 looked better as drop-head
Dirtydeedsman said:This is by far away BMW best moment in vehicle design. In my mind the E92 335i looked even better than the M3 of the same generation.

Look at that line that cuts the car in half from the taillight past the fuel tank cover to the door handle and rests nicely on the wheel arch just barely touches the wheel arch. Then the slopping rear from the shark fin to the back of the car. the blunt edge on the boot where the slop of the roof ends and the back of the car begins. How the lines sweep to the sides of the car to make another beautiful cut just under the windows and the side mirrors on to the bonnet to give a wide look of the front which was later copied into the AUDI A5. :blowheart:
Those tailpieces, those magnificent tailpipes. Sticking from the rear end out of that black bumper shinning stainless steel to give contrast of colors and make the bumper look even more appealing. Those taillights, that one red. So translucent it looks like a boiled sweet.
Then the way it sits (What the youth are calling STANCE these days) the dimensions of the whole thing and how compact, cute and yet violent and sexy it is.
This is it.raise: This is the best work BMW did before the F30 and F10 design
