I've got a 2011 125i coupe with 44 000k's

I've extended plan in January and I've only replaced front and rear disks since January. No services done.

To extend for another year should cost around 14k and all that my car is only due for a service in 2018 which means I probably won't even reach it, there's nothing else outstanding or needs to be done.

Will it be worth it to extend? Even if the service is due in the following year it won't come to 14k. advice please?

If its as you say, then I wouldnt extend it. Extending motorplan is a bit of a gamble.. if nothing goes wrong, then its you who's losing out on money. Some very smart people at BMW have calculated that letting people extend their motorplans on average will work in their favor, thats why they do it.

What I'm going to do when mine runs out, is rather set aside some money when I can on a "car fund", which will be used when a major repair is needed, and if it builds up quite a bit, it will go towards a new car.
Rather invest your R14k in some sort of fund like that in my opinion.
