To Decat or not

Hey guys.

I'm loving my 94 325i auto. Really has been one of my favorite cars I've ever owned.
However, recently I've been toying with the idea or removing the cat/cats? The car is sitting on around 60k km's currently.
Do you guys think this is a good idea or should I just leave it all alone? I'm mainly interested in doing it as I've been told it will sound a little nicer and apparently have a slight improvement in performance? Koenic in Benoni has quoted me R250 per cat to do it and reckons it's a straight forward job.

I'd appreciate any advice or opinions.

Go for it! But does the 94 model have them to start with? And only 60 000 Kms? Garage queen of note!

Yeah, I have no idea if it even has cats. Other than getting under the car and having a look, is there anyway I can check?

I doubt your car has cats.
