Hey, its me again with an update...
Couple small changes and tweaks here an there but very refreshing. They say change is as good as a holiday... Well, i did some changes and had a holiday.
Last Friday, i drove down to DBN for the weekend, with Eid on Monday i arrived home last night at 8pm. Another successful trip with no issues. Average speed of 125km/h since reset in JHB on Friday. 7.6l/100km consumption. Was heavily loaded on the trip back and it was a warm day so 22 degrees climate controlled air conditioner 90% of the trip.
While i was down, OCD Detailing had my car for the day on Saturday. Enhancement detail was on the menu. Excellent service, they collected the car from me, then discovered I used to live next door to Yulz many years back so i took a drive to collect the car later that day. Small world!!!
I was kept in the loop the entire day of what was going on. Got a message to come collect. My cuz took me, got to drive his 220i, very nice but lacks the punch. Anyways, we arrived at OCD Detailing and my car was parked in the garage, my eyes popped out and jaws dropped. I had always thought my car was clean, until OCD finished off. It was the second time they had worked on it but this time was spectacular. IMO, i think experience has grown plus their product range was undergoing trials and i think they can say they have found the perfect mix of products to satisfy their clients. I am extremely happy. Thanks Yulz and Kyle...

Next up, Black 101mm tail pipes...
I have always wanted these every since i saw them on the Rennzsport cars. So i contacted Charles, he said Firoze_D has already put his name down for the last set. So i left it...
A week or so later i met up with Firoze_D, he handed a parcel to me and said its for me. Didnt think much and took it home. Opened it up and low and behold, 101mm Black chrome tail pipes. Thanks Firoze for arranging it with Revo. Epic brotherhood.
Then, the CSL boot...
Husain from Prominetix supplied this. My spray painter painted it and it was fitted by a friend who is a fitter at a panel shop. While the fit is awesome, it needs to stretch according to the fitter. Being CF, he says it will never be a perfect fit, especially because its aftermarket. However, i am going to mold it on sooner than later. Considering doing a LCI Boot and tail lights so will mold then.
Last but not least, the wheels!!!
I really did not like the CSL reps, since the day i got them. They grew on me after i had them painted but still wasnt satisfied with them. After the X5 wheels, i needed something to stand out. I liked the design of the CSL wheels but preffered the agression of the 1M wheel. So, i went to my trusty friends at The Wheel Shop and got a set of 3SDM 0.01 Reps in 19 inch. Offset is a little high in front so the wheels sits further in compared to the CSL's but the rear is lower so sits much better compared to the CSL's. Im happy with the wheels, maybe a colour change later, will see. I like the pop out effect the Diamond Cut and allow has at the moment.
Oh, and Concave...
