Please keep us updated on the tips, perhaps heat-resistant clear would help? (If you even get that)

It was perfect until i had to wash the car. Idiots at the car wash sprayed the tail pipes from 5cm away thus peeling off the paint. I re-painted them to cover the peels. Looks better now, but im going to give it a few more coats.

So with the wheel change, i had to do a one more change to change the look a little. I found that wheels changed the look from Sporty (with the M3's) to a little classy now with the X5 wheels.

With that, i contact Jabba from Jabsport, he advised that he had newer types of LED angel eye bulbs which are brighter so i ordered a set. Contacted him on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning i got the tracking number. Thursday morning our office driver comes to me with a parcel. Thanks Jabba, your service is excellent.

Got home yesterday after work and tackled it, took me about 30 minutes, would have been quicker if i had a smaller screwdriver for the passenger side light. Anyways, here are the pics. They look a little yellow in the pics, i was trying different settings on the camera to capture the AE's, all i was getting was a white blur headlights.

The devil is now disguised...

With Headlights on:

8am this morning:

Hope you like!!!

Hmmm...Arbee...can't I send you a set of the Rennzport bulbs...You can compare the two...you and I have the same lights on our cars and I can promise you the Rennzport bulbs are better than what you currently have. If you like the Rennzport bulbs you can keep them.
What do you think?

I could do with that... :praise:

Edit to add: I think my camera skills might be giving these bulbs a bad rep. Remember, i have laminx over my headlights also!

Cool. I will arrange them for you. I agree with you it is not easy to photograph angel eyes.

The rennzport LEDs emits a pure white & brighter light (20w).

Looks amazing on that black canvas. Love it...

Cool! These are the same, 20w as well. I have been loyal to Jabba over many years and will remain that way. But willing to give yours a try. If i dont like them, we can find a buyer for you in GP. I will facilitate that. If i like, i will buy them from you.

How come it always looks like there's dispersed light with the non xenon angels, it's the same with the pre LCI E60. The corona rings don't look as defined from further away?

I have also noticed that. I think cos the non xenon headlights are empty on the inside and it reflects on the bowls. Where as the headlights with xenon have the projector within.

BMW Xenon headlights with these white AE's look absolutely gorgeous. I see a white E92 335i every morning and i drool each time.

I prefer the red ones. :fencelook:

Thanks, i agree... The red ones gave the car character. It also got a name for it self at Wadeville.

They will go on the car again, getting some easy opening screws made up so i can swap bulbs quicker than 30 minutes.
