Thanks bud... Reason i ask, as you pointed out, many videos i have watched also have the same criteria you mentioned. Yet, mine is totally different.

I guess if my car didnt bellow out so much devil smoke, one would easily think its a x35.

Thats uniqueness right there. Come to think of it i havent heard a 335i from the outside.., just the inside...

My aim with this car... Most of the items i have done, i have not seen before. With luck, (if i may say so myself) they have all turned out to be great mods.

Replaced the rear tyres today. The outgoing Toyo's have been a pleasure to have. My bru in law brought in some tyres for his M3 but sold the car so I took the tyres from him. Luckily, cos they would have been the wrong size for the M3 an ways.

I had 235 40 18, I replaced them with 245 40 18. So far so good. Need to burn them in, easy job.

Brand: Nexen. They coming standard on the new Chevs, Hynundai's etc... My bru in law is one of their Agents so i got them pretty cheap. Did some research and they seem to be good tyres.

So far, they seem to be holding traction better. But then again, any new tyre would compared to having 10% tread remaining. So, still testing them. They proved well in the rain last night, so im kind of happy.

I liked the stretch of the 235's, but needed wider tracks for traction. 245 seems likes the widest i can go on the M3 wheels on my car due to the lower offset. 255's might catch. I was not happy letting go of the stretched look. However, looking this morning at the car, seems i still have the stretch and the little more wider track. So, WIN WIN situation. I love that...

I'm only on page 11 so far but I think I want my next car to be an E90...The first pics of your car at the dealer - looked so plain and hum drum compared to now. I would never let it go :inlove:

I should start saving up for an E90 335d

Finally done going through the whole thread.

I wouldn't have done anything differently. Was enlightening to see your dyno charts, event days, videos etc. Your car deserves recognition from BMW Magazine IMHO, people outside of SA should see all the work you've done.

Maybe some before and after pics should be uploaded onto the Fanatics Facebook page?

Either way, great stuff.

What's the next mod you have in mind? I'm struggling to think of anything that would make this car any better than it already is - too bad I'm not in SA to see it in the flesh.

Bud, thanks for taking the time to go through my entire thread, it really means a lot to me and thanks for providing feedback.

Thanks, i mentioned in another thread that my Showroom thread is a portfolio off my car. So, every mod, update, change gets documented.

Being in a BMW magazine, well, yeah, maybe if they have a stock vs mod article.

Im sure i have put some pics on the FB page. Feel free to post them up if you like. I have no issue.

Next mod - I tend to sometimes think of them at the spur of the moment. But for now, cosmetically, a nice Diesel badge. Performance, Water Meth Injection kit and/or Intercooler.

Thanks to everyone that has looked and replied to my thread. I appreciate it...
