Hi Guys,

Some Feedback on the Powerbrake Discs and Pads fitted on my car.

So, i have done around 3000km since i fitted the Powerbrake GT4 Discs and Pads (Front) to my 330d. I fitted OEM rear discs and pads at the same time.

Noise:
I have zero noise from the PB setup. I followed bed in procedures as much as i could. High speed or not, no noise. However, i get an annoying squeak from the rear OEM setup at low speed.

Brake Dust:
I wash my car at least twice a week, so i wont really focus on this but its very minimal. I hardly notice it, could be due to the colour of my wheels.

Stopping Power:
Amazing, whenever i need the brakes, they are there and i have become very confident because of this. Cold or hot, wet or dry they work excellently. Even over long brake from high speed, i have yet to feel fade.

Looks:
I must admit, they really have bettered the look of the front wheels and i love the look. Not as good as the M3 type of brakes but much better than the OEM look.

Price:
Value for money is an understatement. I got my kit at almost R800 LESS than the OEM setup and i feel that this is a deal breaker.

Customer Service:
I purchased through a buddy who is an Agent. He actually purchased it and got his dealer discount therefore i got it a couple bucks cheaper than directly from PB, he then delivered to me. However, i will be honest, he runs a business so he wont do this for everyone. At first, i emailed PB through their website and got excellent service and information. I was advised as to what would be the best setup for my needs. PB directly do deliver through a courier company at an extra cost.

Overall:
They are perfect, i have no complaints. I actually think its the 2nd best mod i have done.

I know this not a very convincing review, but that's not my aim. This is a personal opinion, others may vary.

Powerbrake can be purchased from Powerbrake directly, or, i have a buddy that is an Agent for them. IF you need his info, PM me.

Any questions?

Thanks
Arbee

Hey bud, nice meeting you last night.

Yeah, busy compiling a video of all types of exhaust notes. Will take a while to sort and upload though.

So what do you think about the Exhaust notes that you heard on Wednesday Night?

I think that its settled now with the build up of carbon. Its deeper and if i may say so myself, an amazing tone. Took a drive on my PVT race track late last night with the windows down and in DS mode, gave it some stick and man o man, i love it. She sounds like an x35 but with black smoke. :joy:

Arbee, heard your exhaust last night and it has an awesome tone

For those petrol heads out there who think diesels sound like tractors, I think it's time for a reality check. Very soon it's going to be diesels with cool natural tones and petrols with fake speaker generated notes... :fencelook:

Yes, yes, I know I'm selling my diesel to get a petrol - no need to remind me of that one

Thanks MSM... Appreciate the approval,

For the bold sections, it cannot be said any better.

And yes, you going to soon realize your mistake, or have you already? :fencelook:

Just kidding! Good luck on replacing the D.

I have not heard another diesel sound like yours, trust me i have been watching videos online and have not found anything similar, others were louder at idle, lower at full load, or vice versa, but yours is ..... friggin awesome.

Thanks bud... Reason i ask, as you pointed out, many videos i have watched also have the same criteria you mentioned. Yet, mine is totally different.

I guess if my car didnt bellow out so much devil smoke, one would easily think its a x35.
