Awesome update:

Let me start off by saying, XCEDE FTMFW... Not just the software but Sherwin in particular!

I attended the Project Shift/Dent Doctor/BMWFanatics Dyno Day at WRC and up until i saw Sherwin i had no plans of loading a file onto my car.

Anyways, Sherwin convinced me (didnt need to say much) and before my first (stock) run he read the car and the car was Dyno'd @ 130kw and 443nm which i think was pretty low but maybe my car is the 160kw IIRC model.
On the dyno: Before SW run

Car came off the Dyno and Sherwin got busy loading the file he tweaked, afaik he just upped the boost by .2 bar. Sherwin took it for a drive around the parking lot and put it back into the line for the "after" dyno...
Waiting in line - Thanks Andz-GP for the ice (Proven trick amongst most tuners, i saw a couple guys laugh at this)

On the Dyno for the After Run:

I checked the time the pics where taken and it was 1 minute short of being exactly an hour apart from the Before and After Dyno.

Car made 177kw 566nm after Xcede was loaded. :inlove::inlove:

Big ups to Sherwin, this was not planned but well executed.

Best part, the car feels so smooth on the road and puts the power down well. Sherwin will tell you about the launch on it.

I love my car even more... :inlove::inlove:

Stock DP. No hardware changes. It was basically, as i mentioned, Stock dyno run, load file, After Dyno run. Im trying to upload the Graphs, but PBUCKET does not allow me to upload PDF's.

Sherwin is a legend!!! and that ice trick, is a pure and proper trick, has been used from back in the 90's and works like a charm as proven once again!

I have 1 query though, on the second dyno it shows petrol turbo - charged, isnt it sappose to be diesel?? and how come the ambient correction changed from 17% to 27%??

Would that make a big difference in determining kw and torque??

if it does than it would be wrong...

I must try that on my car and see what happens...

Im not sure, WRC would be the best to answer that. AFAIK most dyno's in GP are set to 27% correction factor. I donno, could be wrong.

So i called WRC as this also bothered me...

They sending my the Graph with 17% correction factor.

But, as you can see here, it was set the same to dyno the other 330d - Poject shift one...

i think i need to re-dyno my car as petrol turbo charged and see what the numbers look like,

you picked up massive gains there man just from soft ware alone...

but in principle our cars are sapposed to be dynoed as diesel turbo charged and not petrol.

why didnt they do that for me... lol will try and go in the week to see if it can be done and will post numbers up... :thumbs:
