Hi arbee. Just spotted your car in tongaat, durban. It looks even better in the flesh. The rims and laminx really look nice!
Thanks bud! Yeah, Tongaat is my hometown. Born and brought up there then moved to GP. Went to visit my granparents, will be back there to drop my gran off, she's spending the day with us at the hotel in Umhlanga.

Breakers was lekker, my aunt is living there, for the past 3 years. She got us a room and sorted chows and stuff for us. My 16 month old really enjoyed the pools. Was lekker fun...

Yeah, we had good weather, the sea mist that settles on the car annoyed me.

Update Time:
Just a small one, got all the ugly orange bulbs changed to pretty white LED's. Huge difference, big thanks to Jabba from Jabsport in Durban for supplying and fitting while i was down in DBN on holiday.

What was changed to LED:
Interior Lights - The ones that switch on when you unlock and open doors.
Footwell lights
Cubby light
Vanity lights
Interior spot lights
Boot light - a bit too bright, a few layers of laminx will sort that out.
Number plate lights
Park Lights

HID kits fitted to the main driving lights and Fog lights.

Consumption from DBN to JHB with a full load and aircon on for 95% of the journey. Mind you, its the first time i stayed at the speed limit (GPS) the entire trip.

Will get more pics soon of the rest of lights.

Again, big thanks to Jabba from Jabsport for the work done.

Thanks
Arbee

Reckon cruise control will give you better or worse consumption?! :thinker:

I used cruise control the entire trip, unless stopping suddenly the brakes where used which killed the CC. Even when slowing down to 100km and 80km in those zones, i used the decel lever to slow down. Same with increasing speeds.

You would be suprised how quick she picks up speed with that small rev range...

Thanks bud... Massive difference, make everything look clean!

Well, very long legs! So "slow-ish" rev gain but quick speed gain! That's the awesome party piece of a mighty diesel!! Very good and satisfying (I am sure) economy! :praise:
