Been thinking of tinting my windows slightly, any one got any advice or info?

What products are better and should this be done be someone professionally or could I do it myself?

My car is alpine white, e46 ci.

Rather pay a bit more and prevent the bubble windows later.
As for colour: You could a bit darker since it's AW, but imo, darker does not cut it on TiAg colour. :nono:

Agreed, darkest is best on Alpine White.
I'd go with 35%, that's the darkest you can go legally and I'd install DEFCON Granite...

Look at new Chryslers and Jeeps with darker towards rear windows , IMHO darker for Gangstas !!

We do all our cars at Klingshield.
My dad has probly had over 25 Cars done there over the years.
they offer a lifetime warranty against bubbles, etc.

we even had our house done, with almost no tint but just to protect against the harmful rays

the last car we did was the E46 & we got it done 1 shade darker than the 35% legal, it looks tops but its AW

For other colours I would stick to 35%

Thanks, but Im in CPT, any recommendations for the Cape?

Also when you tint the windows, can you do the front and back glass as well?

Sorry, did not know Klingshield was only in JHB :)

We do side & back windows.

They called us the other day about a new thing they are doing with tinting the front windscreen, but afaik its illegal to tint the front, but maybe a clear or light tint that just blocks the harmful sun rays and not the actual light

I got a quote from PG-Autoglass, they quoted me R1900 for my CI, does that make any sense, I have less windows to cover?
