Timing Chain or Cam belt

perhaps a stupid question but I need to set my mind at ease

2006 E90 320d is what I drive

does it have a timing chain or a cam belt ?. Im under the impression it has a timing chain but someone I was speaking to was convinced it has a cam belt which has put me in doubt & now im doubting my own mind

please inform me so that I can put my mind at ease

This is a BMW, not some VAG pos. (Although they have started to see the light and have also moved over to chains.)

fantastic news, its as much as I thought

I was just stressed out a bit because my car is heading on for 140k km & that's about the time a cam belt will usually give the royal middle finger salute.
