Ticking Cold

Hey Guys,

So since I got my car I've noticed that it ticks a bit strangely when I switch it off.

My previous cars were mostly GTI's and they never ticked like this, its quite a loud tick, almost like that you would hear on a plane, like something turning and ticking.

I always take it easy on my last 5-10kms of my journey, not going over 2k revs and always allow the car to warm up before going over 2k revs.

Is this a normal sound? Am I being paranoid? The vehicle is booked in at JSN on Monday just for them to replace some stuff before mplan ends.

I have noticed this on my new F30... ticking comes from the middle to rear of the car... think its exhaust cooling down. :hammerhead: Does sound weird and startled me but I am properly paranoid as well. Don't think its anything to worry about. My E90 used to click and tick like mad in the engine bay at times... depending on the heat but BMW adjusted some things and it went away.
