I have had mine for the past 5 years yes it has given me problems but it has always been hard for me to let it go because of its uniqueness. The compact is not a car you would find every tom dick and harry driving it hence I was keen on it in the 1st place but I wish I had bought the 325ti a bit of research was needed then.

I have seen an article that BMW replaced the ti series with the 1 series. I wonder how true that is. I cannot imagine that it is completely inaccurate as the shape is not so far off.

That is correct the 1 series is the successor to the Ti.

This 325 ti one is 11 years old. I am second owner since 2004. 220k on the clock. Serviced religiously at Auto Atlantic. Maint makes all the difference. Stock standard. Goes like a bomb. I still get 700 km to a tank. I would buy another if I could find a good one. To mod or not?
