Hey Guys
Having recently had our Baby, and being a car guy i was driving my family home from the clinic, doing that first drive with the little one when i naturally started realizing how much more aware of the little ones safety in the car. So it got me thinking of my wife’s car.
She drives a 2016 Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost from new. It only has 83 000km on the clock, still smells new, and is immaculate on the inside.
So its a great car, great drive, still amazing condition. But it is a small hatch.
While i was having my X3's aircon regassed, a lady pulled into the workshop in a very clean C-class. I started chatting to the mechanic who started giving me some info on the car. It is owned by a female doctor, a 2010 350 Cdi that if any small thing comes up, she has it taken to the workshop and repaired.
It only has 109000km on the clock. Last year she thought of selling it as they 2 other new Benz's and we buy cars offered her 85k ( how ridiculous) sho she decided to keep her.
So it got me thinking of giving an offer on the car.
Now this is the tough part. What are your gusy thoughts?
2016 Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost, 82 000km owned from new
or let it got for a
2010 Mercedes C-class 350 Cdi 109000km full service history
It would be so hard to let go of the Fiesta as we have owned it from new, but the older but bigger car offers so much more space and of course for Dad... performance too.
What’s your guys thoughts on new but smaller vs older but bigger and better but same value, so no extra payment any where?
