There's one big problem with these Bosch aero twin wipers

They keep getting facking stolen. Twice in one week when my car is parked in town. At night obviously.

Seriously? Is there some sort of aero twin pandemic on right now in Cape Town? They're not even that expensive.

Guess I have to stick the factory ones back on.

They stole my chrome zorst tips but never blades :fencelook:

Crap now I have to worry about those too

They are welded on AFAIK so should not be a issue. The E90's just slip over.

Do you have a pic of your car with the Aero's? I heard they look weird on the car..

Nah they look fine. And work extremely well.

e46 330i tips are not welded, they have a sping clip and a slot they go into on the exhaust box tips, they can be removed but not easily.

What's the world coming to

OK well it's really not the end of the world. I just find it comical that I obviously can't own these wipers while living in town. I mean.. wipers are such an arb thing to steal. Further, they're obviously being stolen BECAUSE they are aero twins, and you have to sort of have an eye for those in a way.

I heard of a guy's bumpers being being stolen off his E30 once. If they want it, they'll take it.

Hectic. And i thought JHB was bad.

I'm rather surprised myself.

Anyway, put the factory arms back on. I assume I can replace the rubber blades on those? Hopefully THESE won't get stolen. Hehe.

The ones I bought for my 325i are like that with the springs.

The ones on my brother's 330i are definitively spot welded at the back.

You can get just the rubbers or the full arm from the dealership.

I would normally joke about this being a CT problem, but there's a 50% chance I'll find my car on bricks one of these days up here in JHB too :fencelook:
