I have the same experience every time I get into the 318i after driving the 540i. I keep thinking there must be something wrong with the 318i... I just can't remember it being that low on power :mmm: :)

My bro-in-laws 2007 Isuzu double cab 250d. Took me 40min from King Shaka to Stanger, struggling to get to 110kmh on flat road with no load and just 2 passengers. Was very grateful to pickup my ford ranger 2.5td and drive back to durban

Lol...i drive from Durban to Stanger in that time with my Beemer

The worst car is one I owned for 18 months, a 2006 ford Focus 1.6:fencelook:

And to think I traded my modified sentra in on it:flyfun:

Had to red line and floor it every gear in the afternoon in an attempt to get home, it rattled within a few weeks, the paint started peeling on the body kit and fuel consumption was like 11-12l/100km.:thumbdo:

I bought the wife a corsa and drove that instead, after 18 months I had had enough, traded i in on a E90 323i Exclusive.:bravo:

After a horrible break up, my ex who is now my fiance, took the Motorsport away as it was originally in her name I was forced to get a Chevy Spark... I even had a bumper sticker made.

GREAT on fuel, but it was quicker and safer to walk to your destination.

But in a close second place a friends mothers car with over 270 000 Kms on the clock, with almost no service history: Hyundai Accent 1.3:thumbdo:

I owned a Tata indica to save fuel. Lasted 8 months NEVER again.

Toyota Venture drove one as a company car from time to time. Worst thing ever. I'd rather go to the dentist for fun.

A Tata Indica. The seating position is horrible, the plastics are hard and dull, and it...just get in one and see if you'll ever spend your hard-earned on one

+1000000

My sister owns one and that sitting position feels like you in the loo

You guys are  about the Corolla. When able try the Chev Spark  Lazy lazy lazy. I'm sure I damaged the floor under the excellerator peddle + cousin was stressed i'm going to brake her car. My mistake was taking the drivers seat thinking it would be more comfortable than the back. What could have also contributed to my frustration with the vehicle's power was the 2 passengers. Never again :thumbdo: From now on it will be the passenger seat for me.

I had a Chev spark rental for a weekend & considering its a 1.2l with 64Kw its not that bad.. it cruised at 140kph quiet comfortably... then after that weekend I got a 1.4 VW polo vivo now that was crap compared to the chev...

But I guess I am not spoilt when it comes to cars.. My 318i is a 1.9l with only 87Kw so a chev spark with a 1.2 & 64Kw & no weight is not too bad..

LOL! B@stard, I'm still alive and the car is safe in the garage :)

Was on the N2 so with tolls, just that roads were quiet for a sunday afternoon, only slowed down for pigs with their cameras :yuck:

Past the airport is perfect to stretch your car's legs
