The e36 m3 coupe is a beautiful machine if mantained properly. Yes it is expensive to repair but you need to shop around for spares because the guys ask for insane prices most of the time. Bearing knocks are common on the 3.0l mainly because of the oil pump failure and sometimes driving habits :nonono: I say buy it if you have checked it out properly :thumbs:
