Is it for sale? š¤£I have heard so many RR horror stories...I keep telling myself that is is the "simple" early BMW version with very little to go wrong except for air suspension, electronics, timing chain, vanos, gearbox etc etcfingers crossed...A set of rear shocks are about 12k which I will get to...eventually...
I fit the later chrome steering wheel spokes to replace my horrid peeling black spokes...much better

I have so far done about 400km since fixing the gearbox and I have not had a single bing! Fuel consumption on the open road is about 13L/100 which is less than ideal, but quite manageable. I love/hate that there is no instantaneous fuel consumption readout on the dash like similar BMWs, but I suppose that is poor mentality. Only peasants keep their eye on trivialities like fuel consumption.
This car keeps throwing pleasant surprises at me...for example, water beads off the paint and it does not need new wipers. These are small things that are firsts for me...I must be getting better at making poor decisions...
I always wanted one, but my 2 sacks aren't as big as yours š¤Ŗ
