I'm not going to lie but in that camo from the back it looks like an A-Class :hammerhead:

Agree.. Also certain side profiles remind me of the older CX5 (this new '1' does look a bit big from the pics)..

Need to see this without the cammo, but sad the car will be FWD.. RWD or AWD for me from BMW.. If I want FWD, I'll stick to VAG.

On this whole front wheel drive change...........

I read somewhere that BMW conducted focus groups where it was determined that the large majority of people did not even know which of the wheels drives their 1 series.............:eek:mgwaiting:

Who are these people?
Where are they?
Are they allowed to reproduce? Because they shouldn't. :skit:

Not to sound like a M***** but

if you drive your car everyday, as a daily. Does it really mater if its FWD or RWD? I have been driving lots of FWD and I also have a C350 RWD and in everyday traffic or popping to the mall and back... you can't really feel/see the benefits :dunnoanymore:

To answer the original post, I like the drive train as it is.

I enjoy the rear wheel drive train as it is, whether handing out my next installment of TLGP, popping to the shops or seeing a client.

What is BMW synonymous with? Rear wheel drive vehicles.

Just to change something because of "focus groups" is the same as me saying that your post offends me and I will change my post to make you happy.

People are getting way too fluffy in this day and age IMHO.

So this will also likely be in the old 3 series price range.. If you think about it, I think that is what they are doing.. Making the 1 and 2 series (likely to have a sedan), X2 the car of the masses now, thus the new bread and butter range? Hence FWD, etc.. 135 instead of 140 .. Maybe I am wrong, but I get that feeling..

Let us see what the launch models look like..
