Welcome to the forum.

I don't think anyone here has experience with a "M325i" :dizzy:

The oil level on the dash is useless. If the oil is low, you will get a warning to tell you so. Just monitor it. These engines are known to drink oil more frequently than the others from what I've read (and experienced).

Hi there

Not sure there is really a diy to reprogram E90 keys easily. I know the E46 can be reprogrammed but it requires the key being inserted in the ignition, not quite the case with E90. My best suggestion would be dealers. They will charge an hour's labour but well worth it

I've seen there is a trend to put an M badge on an Msport spec BMW. This is next level. M on an exclusive. :fencelook:

Welcome to the forum. The key may need coding. Does it function normally otherwise?

You seem to be new to the BMW brand. I hope whoever sold you the car did not take you for a ride. There is no such thing as an M325i Touring. The badges are fakes. Now it's your car so you can do as you wish, that's no problem. Like I say, I just hope the former owner didn't make you pay extra for the ///M.

Hozit bud

There is no 'M325i' the closest you could get to that is a 325i with an M sport kit, your car doesn't have that either. The previous owner just put badges on the car.

The 325i touring is still a really good car.

Welcome to the forum:thumbs: As mentioned above, I really hope you didn't pay a premium because your car was sold as an "M" car. The person that had your car previously obviously got some M stickers for cheap and stuck it all over the car. The 325i is still a solid car though and those motors are very reliable.

Good luck with your key trouble:thumbs:

Hi and welcome to the Forum, I see that you are in Vredenburg so I assume West Coast, if that is the case take your car to Multi Motor Services down opposite the West Coast Mall past the "Spietcops" until you see his business, he has many Years experience as an OLD techie with BMW and opened his own business up here recently, hope you come right and if you do and he is good let me know bud!!
