Pretty sure it will be sold at auction, bought, fixed and on a dealers forecourt shortly....doubt this car will be scrapped.

insurance was saying that the bumper stiffner and the attached structure was damaged......does that qualify as structural ?

I don't think it's enough to classify the car as 'Rebuilt' which is what Code 3 is.

Nope they don't scrap it, repair it and sell it for a huge profit. Even the same numberplate

Im looking for R140k. 2005 facelift model, 169'000km. All the cool stuff (heated comfort seats, sunroof, soft close doors) and none of the kak-expensive-to-repair ones (edc-K, air suspension, hydraulic boot, hydraulic sway bar etc). She has a Dension 500s BT fitted providing usb, aux, bt and audio streaking all fully integrated into the iDrive.
