Man i miss my 135i

What made you part with it? That 20d you have is pretty capable though with the M sport pack.:cartel:

My wife hated it because it's not an ideal family car... The 320d is ok but certainly not an enthusiasts car. Hoping to get an M135i or 335i by the end of the year

Enjoy your car man, I'm jealous!

Fastest to the washbay!:cartel:

So I had a few mods done to the car recently. As you can see from my signature, I've added a JB4. This Saturday, I went to Tweek performance, the only guys willing to help me this weekend. They installed my DCIs and catless 76mm downpipes.

Apologies for the dirty engine bay, only took the car for a wash afterward and with the DCIs installed its impossible to spray the engine bay. Will clean up over the next weekend.

Cleaned the DCIs last week, took longer than expected to dry so only oiled them this friday evening.

So the car now gives a great induction noise and a slight "sneeze" when coming off the throttle or changing gears. I quite like it. The downpipes haven't made the car much louder but there is a difference that I noticed. The car still screams like the straight six it is which I love and would be the only reason I leave the back end of the exhaust system stock. The performance is great in Map 5 but I suspect better fuel would give me a performance bump, which I probably don't need right now as the car lives in Map 4 (Stock tune with JB4 on for logging):tiptoe:.

This car impresses me every time I drive it. It is so responsive and pulls like a train, overtaking is a breeze in any gear.

The next thing on my list for this car is a carbon clean and to fix up all the curb rash from the previous owner. The only performance mod I would consider in the distant future would be an LSD.

Thanks for viewing:blowheart:

Thank you for the kind words gents!

A small update to share with you guys! Black grills!

So in the first pic if you look at the middle of the bonnet you can see the fade in the paint. I had the bonnet resprayed at VPS Randburg. Took advantage of the great special that Kuvi had.

I was a bit nervous about doing a visual mod to the car, because I've never done a visual mod with any of the cars I've owned. The car has the sports pack which has the gloss black exterior trim, I thought that the gloss black grills would look better than the random chrome I had on my car. What do you guys think?

So in the mean time, I've done rear brakes. Moranor (Sean) hooked me up with Textar pads and sensor at an awesome price. I've also installed the BMS sport oil thermo and had the CDV delete done.

The CDV delete is one of the better mods you can do on a manual car. It feels like the control is back in your hands. Had to unlearn the bad habit of driving like I have a CDV in my car

Thanks for viewing guys:coolShake:

Did you paint your grills or buy gloss black ones.

Looking for a set.

Hi Shaun,

I bought a forum members set. It's gloss black grills, not painted. Some other forum members have had success with painting their grills, just do quick search there may be a DIY
