The BSM M2 [Detailing Content]

After the LBB M2 was done and dusted for the launch at Sandton Auto, it was almost time for the Black Sapphire Metallic to hit the roads and shred some rubber. We were called in a few days before, and immediately, work on this beast began...

The process was quite similar to LBB M2. Initially, the front grilles and turn signal trims were sent out to be painted black. Thereafter, we had some really dark tint installed on the windows (by request).

Following a full wash and decontamination, sensitive areas were taped and protected and we got to work. After a couple of test spots, we settled on a pad/product combination of Scholl S20 Black with Scholl White spider pads.

Like the LBB, this BSM received the full Blackfire treatment- Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish for a fine polish after the compounding, Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant to seal in the freshness and give it a shine, and lastly Blackfire Midnight Sun wax to end off with that final layer of protection and gloss.

Furthermore, the headlights and tail lights were tinted, with a much darker shade at the rear.

The M2 was taking great shape, but due to time constraints, our documentation of the process was unfortunately insufficient. :sorry:

I did manage to snap a good few pics of the finished product, though...
