Technical Advice: X1,2.0D

Hi Guys,

Need some advice on my 2.0D X1 Sdrive.

When the car is cold and sometimes when under normal driving conditions I feel that the car "overboosts".
When the car is cold I nurse the accelerator and feel that in the lower gears it almost pushes into a slight overboost and then changes into gear.

Im not sure of this is normal on the 2.0D motor, i previously had an old spec X5 3.0D and besides gbox issues it didnt really show these symptoms for a diesel car albeit the 3 litre is a bigger motor.

Hi, had the exact same issue...car is getting a new gearbox as we speak. Had it on second to third and also very harsh when the car was cold. Exact same problems on a couple other cars also had the same outcome ala. new gearbox

Thanks for the feedback, I assumed it to be gearbox or turbo.
