Tarlton this Friday, 07/06 ???

My time sheet

Track was slippery as hell. Car stood still in first and second and still spun all way with every gear change into fourth. Went to tarlton after year and half and last night was a reminder why i hate that place so much. Feul and traffic to get there from pretoria is a nightmare but track is always slippery everytime i had been there. Last time i was there nearly went into the wall twice due to oil on the track. Hence i prefer ODI but every track has its issues. Tarlton is extremely well organized with regards to timing and boards displaying times is a big plus. 15-16 sec runs was on used bridgestone semis that i borrowed but as much and as long as i warmed them up they would not bite. 14's were all on street Goodyear eagle f1 tyres. Still spun but not as bad. 14.4 was against 6 gti, 14.7 was against roc R. The 14.7 run the clutch slipped in third gear and 14.8 was a poor launch and traction. Need to invest in nice set of hoosier full slicks.

One should go directly after a national event. At least some rubber and track bite on the track and not on a winters night. :nono:

And the last run I got in did a 14.8

Was in first gear, I have a manual.

But I have AC Schnitzer upgrade in as well, which helps the time :rollsmile:
