who's addy?

how important is that slot near the top? what purpose does it serve? as far as i can see you could remove the slot and cut the cost by half.

my email is: technicianj (at) gmail (dot) com

The slot is where the o-ring goes that actually does the sealing... So there is no way of getting rid of it. However, I am having a hard time finding the drawing, and the Autocad I had does not work on Win7 64-bit, so I am in the process of acquiring a newer version, but reports are showing that that is going to take a week...

Please don't lose sleep over the CAD design, if it's more hassle than it's worth, I'll order some from the UK.

that cad will be ok- thanks P1000.

now the question is if anybody wants a set, let me know and i'll make a set up?
R110- each is a bit heavy?
depending on quantity, im sure i could make them cheaper.

i think there is some confusion between the group buy and myself making a set-

if you interested in me making a set for you then email me [technicianj (at) gmail (dot) com]and we can agree on a price and quantity and delivery.
that will be easier for me.

thanks.

Assuming it doesn't have to be done this instant, I will do that. It's mid month salty crack time:thumb:

I doubt you will find the EGR delete kit in SA (or at the dealer), but if you browse some other forums, they show you exactly the parts needed. All it is, is some blanking plates and then you need to either rip out the guts of the existing EGR or replace it with a straight tube.

The breather I heard is R450 at the dealer now. I paid R650 about 2 years ago...

I simply removed the flaps off the spindles and replaced the spindles just like that.

The crank breather valve is in the region of R450 for the vortex unit. I got mine about 6 weeks back.

I did not have time to do the EGR removal so I just cleaned it out with carb cleaner to give it a few more months.

I also removed just the flaps and put the spindles back. The screws holding the flaps on were peaned over on the other sides though so the scews would never have come out on their own. Dont know if that was done on some later models to avoid problems.
