suspension problem

Why would my car pull left the whole time. I was in an accident and since then started pulling to the left

Probably wheel alignment. Could be tire pressure so maybe just make sure all your tires are the right pressure.

If you hit the sidewalk or something then there might be something bent if you hit it hard enough. If you didn't it that hard then the wheel alignment is probably just out.

check wheel alignment, but as Nic says it really depends on what damage was done...

If any work was done after the accident to the chassis or any steering or suspension mountings then get off your butt and kick butt at the repairer - you will soon replace tyres at your cost like this .
If nothing major was done then have 4 wheel alignment done , this will show any defects and correct the misalignment .
The 540i is a heavy car and a suspension bush may have worn as well , the alignment technician should pick this up , he should do a test drive as well .
