Surebrake pads

Hi.

I bought some Surebrake pads for my e92... I've seen the other thread around here which is pretty damning for these pads but a few guys on the vw forum say they are pretty good.

What do you guys think ? Should I try return them or give it a shot ?

Give it a bash, you already bought them anyway.

The worst that will happen is you might not like them and replace them with something else...lesson learnt in there or if they excellent then you can give us a good review and a whole community benefit.:praise:

Yes. I've left it too long and have to get it done and they only had surebrake and bilstein and the guy recommended the surebrake

I got them on my car, seems ok, doesn't make a lot of brake dust. Does make a noise now and then but you can live with it. Mine came so when I bought the car. I will change it later though as I will need to do my disks.

i have the same set from goldwagen on my E90. no issues. they don
t make noise and stopping power is decent for what you pay

Day one update. Brakes working perfectly, no squeaks and decent stopping power....

Was also my 1st time changing pads myself, Everyone should be doing this themselves.

The surebrake pads are ok for normal daily driving, but don't expect much out of them when putting them through some spirited runs.

I much rather prefer Metelli pads.

For anyone looking into these pads, I'm a few weeks in now and I I'm pretty happy.

Even under hard braking and spirited driving I don't have any issues or squeal.
Stopping distance is slightly worse than stock pads but barely noticeable.

IMHO I think the guys that have issues with these pads have more power = more stopping force needed

Im guessing these are fitted to the e92 325i?

can supply Textar for this at R 625 a set Textar is OEM so why bother with a pad that pay or may not work as intended :)

have resupplied many customers who have tried surebrake from other suppliers and were not happy so would advise to rather stay away from this pad

I bought the Bilsten pads from goldwagon and They are some seriously good pads in my opinion. I have put them through their paces a few times and they have very good stopping power! I can't comment on the amount of dust they make as I have black rims and although you can see the dust on them its hard to compare to the previous pads as I didn't have them on for very long.

@Moranor@axis I had no idea you sell pads, next set I buy will be from you.
