Joburg - Savspeed, contact Sav on their website. Just know if you do go the Savspeed route you'll lose your aircon. They use the aircon housing to fit the turbo. Sav - 0839487948
Steves Auto Clinic - Don't recommend
RGM Motorsport (Turbo) - Bit pricey
No one lese comes to mind at the moment, maybe someone else will add some others

Expect to pay lots of cash - looking at +R50 000 for proper job

RGM does supercharge conversions, I think the last quote I saw for the entry level (I think 6-8 psi) was R80k and Sav was in the same price range.

As far as I know, there isn't a production-ready conversion kit available yet in SA. Apparently there are issues with the Valvetronic on the N52 motors, which cause issues for turbocharging / supercharging.

I know there's a place in Germany which have supercharged a 323i, and it performs more or less like a 330i.

But I also tend to agree, why modify the N/A 3l motor, when you can buy a X35i and have factory warranty and motorplan :)

+1 on going for the 335 route instead, in the long run its going to be cheaper, and you will keep the resale value of the 330, nobody wants to touch a car with an aftermarket forced induction setup.

Do the math, its prob going to be cheaper just buying a 335 or see if you cannot buy a 335 engine complete with turbo's from a scrap yard.

that would definitely be really awesome, an e46 335i :excited:

Yeah, but you will need to rewire the complete car to E90, so probably not feasible. (N54 is direct injected/ M54 not, so management will be incompatible.)
