Thanks for the bump, bud. Been a bit quiet on the forum, after my images were removed after some bugs, but yes there are updates, albeit a few!
To answer your question, here's a link to my photographer's IG page: https://www.instagram.com/lens3sa/?hl=en[/SIZE]
On to the updates then...
So in accordance to the timeline - here's a summary of things that were done, since my last post:
After the initial month of lockdown, and not driving the car as much as I had used to, it seems the time parked-off, and the short trips, had aggravated an already tired battery (last changed in MP in 2016). With no tools to view the voltage, and battery shops not in operation (for non-essential workers at least) I had decided to take a sneaky trip to the mech to have the battery checked and charged.
Occasional message would pop up, and sometimes go away after some freeway travels.

And upon switching the car off

Hawkins charger FTW!

Arranged with Xcede to have the car remapped. Yes, again. I'm not going to make a long review, or comparison, post with regards to Tuner X vs Tuner Y - as I hadn't mentioned who the previous tuner was and I've got no time for a Tuna Wars story. Those that know the vehicle personally, know that my experiences were all good, CONSIDERING THE PRICE, and the reliability was always there. I can however say that the Xcede file is much better, stronger, and more linear. The powerband is way more usable, and the throttle and low-end torque makes the car so much more enjoyable. To sum it up, the car feels, and drives, like a stock car - just with added power. That's how it should be, right? Guess it was a case of "you get what you pay for" in this instance. It really is hard to track, and compare, economy given the commutes these days, during lockdown. Trips are fairly short and within city roads. More on that some other time I guess...
Some more coding was done on the car via Carly. We coded in true/corrected speedo, digital speedometer, beeping upon locking of the car, and sport dials/gauges (requires a sensor to work which I have zero interest in doing). There were a few more nice-to-haves, such as rear daytime running lights, however we opted not to code these features in as my cars battery wasn't holding up and required frequent charges.
June 2020...
Nothing interesting, car's battery was replaced, and I had a major service done. Popped in a can of Liqui Moly Ceratec while I was at it.
