this is a awesome series on Discovery, gotta say I love Farmtruck and the shyte he gets up to with Azn...

Big Chief and Doc's car seems like it is lightyears ahead of anything we do in SA?
If google serves me right Chief's car is ready for 2500whp , which he tunes depending on the street they race on...

wonder what type of 1/4 and mile times / speeds they run!

can buy a couple of houses in cosmo city with $30 000

from my inexperience it looks to me like those guys are running some serious engineering in their cars, cause getting a car making at the very least 1200whp to hook properly on normal roads is not something you figure out while playing a game of pool!

Great show

Lots of work and lots of time went into those cars.

The "crow" and Murder nova are extremely hot - even though the crow is now white!

Hopefully Chuck gets his act together!

the question is then..., how much do they get paid to be part of the show.., it might be sufficient to build such engines.

None of their shops look busy or seem quite established, but that does not necessarily have a direct impact on the quality of work or turnover.

Street outlaws season two is like a commercial with all the brand placements all over the place.

I can't wait for an episode when a mad 2JZ shows up and destroys all of them.

Season 6 just recently started. Episode 00. Let's hope The Crow and Murder Nova can redeem themselves in beating Kye Kelly, currently the fastest beating the 405.

Most of the show is scripted, especially Farmtruck and Azn's antics. I agree with Fuzz on wanting an import to decimate them all in one episode, but due to the way the show is scripted, it'll never happen.

I look at Street Outlaws in the same light as WWE.

recall Daddy Dave's dyno runs before he raced Chief...he went through 100 plugs just prepping the truck.

Murder Nova has already lost to a 13b Datsun. That particular race will probably never be aired.
