I replied with images as my reply related to the e63 amg and not the Bakkie everyone was talking about.

Sure, but remove pics and just type "e63 pics" or something.
Lol you have to teach the mods now

Perfect example:

Page 5 of the "Mercedes Benz - why you failing so hard?" Thread. Link

Divio posts images of the E63.

Then Rayzor replies and quotes the images.

Then Chris Brand does the SAME thing!

So one one page we have 4 pictures repeated 2 times each!

Not only is it annoying as f***, but it adds up to the data traffic for the forum which could eventually cost the site owners.

I replied with images as my reply related to the e63 amg and not the Bakkie everyone was talking about.

Agree with the quoting of pics. Highly annoying.

Secondly. I really think Standard size signatures should be enforced.
The forum is so difficult to read with each post having a differnet size
sig, some have 10 lines of previous cars the poster has had since he was 18 ( and now he is 55, as if anyone cares ) , then still 3 pics of his current rides.

its ridiculous.

All sig's should be the same size, if you wana fill it with text, so be it, if you wana fill it with pictures, go ahead. But stick to a standard size. :hammerhead:

Just a suggestion:
Why don't the forum give Victor Mike an opportunity as a mod. He is on the forum more often than most of the mods are. I don't personally care for quotes or signatures, etc. But seems he will do a fair job of it.

I see what you doing sir, just a while you wanted me and Herman on the events gang :fencelook:

I suppose the premise of this thread. It would be great if the mods could gently enforce this, and I do find it exceptionally annoying when reading through a thread.

Who do you have in mind to step down, and who should they be replaced by?

No V8, I served my time previously and knew when it was time to step aside for new blood.

OK, not sure how the process works, but believe those who think they can make a positive difference should volunteer.

I've also heard of all the bull shit that goes on behind the scenes, personally I'm not too internet in that.

Victor Mike, your suggestion is very useful and we take note of it going forward. Although it will be difficult to always spot, I can give you assurance that where it is picked up, it will be cleaned up accordingly.

For example, in your reference to the Merc thread, I have edited out all the quotes with pics which looks much easier on the eye now :chef:
