Ouch hate it when that happens, They might only be able to stop the crack from spreading, I recently replaced my windscreen had 2 huge cracks on them. Now i drive very far away from trucks and SUVs :blueCry:

What was the cost of replacement if I may ask?

Crappy part was at least 2cars away from this truck and driving like 80km...:nonono:

Pg glass or wynberg glass should be able to help you with that. I know wynberg glass will come out for you. You'll have to call them for prices though.

Double check with your insurance policy to see if you are covered for glass replacement.. If you are, you will have to pay a small excess (<R500 IIRC) and they'll cover the cost.

When I first looked at the pic I thought the crack was a helicopter in the sky:biglol: Looks like the windscreen will need to be replaced. Don't think cracks can be repaired and it will probably spread with temperature fluctuations.
