Nice work bru. I was using Castro before on my e36 and after I changed to shell helix. It had less noise on idle

The bm had this ticking noise but seemed louder than i thought it should be, but now its much softer.

Ive used shell helix ultra in all my cars, great oil imo.

Next i need/want to do gearbox and diff oil changes.

Just a pic i took today after a quick wash.

Used some wynns diesel injector cleaner and must say it seems to have made a big difference so far after only 150km. Will run it in the tank every 3months or so.

UPDATE:

Sold the telefunken radio that came with the car and bought a Professional radio.

I preferred the oem sleek look of the bmw radio, makes the dash look much better compared to the old radio.

The OEM radio also plays way better and louder compared to the aftermarket radio, Not sure if my car has a BMW amp somewhere but the difference is huge!

Bummed that my car doesnt have bluetooth but probably would have never used that anyways.

Need to find a CD changer now, the inside CD holder thingy is missing....but the CD changer is working.

UPDATE 2:

Ordered a smaller carbon fiber antenna from the overseas, its in SA but now the wait for SAPO begins.

Want to order a new gearnob as well as the current has a big chip/chunk out of it.

I have tinted the rear tails with laminX which looks great, no pics with me now but want to do the headlights as well.

If I may ask, where did you eventually get it from?

If you have tweeters in the pillar you have the hifi system and this includes an amp. Else you have the base system.
You can check what options your car came with by looking up the last 7 digits of the vin here

Thanks bud, Got it from CRA in Germiston, if you do buy one from them i suggest going there with the BMW and fitting it to make sure it works cause i bought one on saturday, got home and it didnt work so had to go back yesterday to exchange.

PM me your vin number and I will check. If you have the tweeters in the pillar then you should have hifi and the amp will be in the boot behind the cover by the passenger taillight. You can google e87 hifi sound and there's plenty info.

Advantage package not much, just multifunction steering wheel, alloys etc. that BMW throws in with the base model.
