Hi All. Finally put on the stickers and here are some pics. I have one problem....Instruction manual sent did not include for tourer as the quarter back window is to small. But they are on.

Also I am not sure what engine it is. I know it is the 4 cylinder 105kw but thats it. So any one know if it is a good engine. And also what power can I get out with a odd mod or 3 like chip?
105kw /200Nm at 3500rpm

Lol Yes. Hyundai Gets 1.6 Low Spec. Baught it as a demo with 18 000km on in June 2004. Sold it 3 weeks ago with 374212km on the clock. 70% of that was long distance as I use to go to the EC from JHB once every 6 weeks. Did George to East london and back.

At one stage i was avg. 18 full tanks a month doing 500-600km on 45 ltrs the most I did in a tax year business wise was 84000km this excludes pvt km's.

I did the calculation once as 100km travelled = 1 hour spent in car.

374000km = 3740 hours
3740 hours = 155 days
155 days = 22.26 weeks.

So yes I lived in my car literally.

Didnt want to but I was scared things were going to go wrong in a big way. Also still owed 27k on it. ( Stealers saw me coming when I baught it). So I found something I liked and a dealer prepared to setlle the getz and give me the Tourer. I paid R103000 for the tourer 2005 318I with 99500 km on the clock and FSH from dealers. I believe this was a good deal????? as I cant find anything close to that price for that year and Km's..and I have been shopping since November

I bet you that Getz was well maintained and serviced regularly...

Use to service it every 15000km ( every 6-8 weeks depending on trips I did. The stealer use to love me.( Although my company paid for my services. )

Proves exactly what sound maintanance can do, and what you can get out of a car if maintained properly.

Just a pity that I do not classify some dealers as "looking after your car properly"

Thats why this one is going to master Gizmo. The tourer has enough trunk space to hide a body. and I know places that know place.
