Hi All,

I am not looking for a copy of SSS as it is propriatary software.

So if somebody does have it, I would not be interested in getting a copy from you, and I do not have any other software goodies to trade you for it.

Do not contact me, but if you so wish, send me a PM :pimp:

kabal,

I have not tried that at all, nor have I spend hours fiddling with the torrents, nor have I downloaded gb after wasted gb to try and get it :(

I also didn't search for it, and didn't download it, and I also didn't spend DAYS trying to get a vmware machine running not trying to get SSS to work.

I'm not fedup either. I also wouldn't like a copy, or a notice of where I can't get it.

Clutchy, I am not busy downloading that again as we speak...

I know for a fact that the DIS in that one REALLY REALLY does not work, but I was hoping I could SSS back up and running, but ya 5gb is painful, should I have choose to download it, which I do not, cause its illegal...

I don't have a cocking clue what you are not on about, and that should not be read in the negative tone that this thread was not supposed to be. Would someone not inform me what you are not talking about.

well INPA/NCS is factory tools, and are not for release to public nor to dealers, so the interface is usually buggy and experimental.

INPA = DIS, SSS=NCS

DIS/INPA = diagnostics/testing, SSS/NCS = programming/changing options

WHere as DIS/SSS is designed for the more commercial user, also the two types of diag heads also play a part in the commercial tools, but can easily be fooled using EDIABAS, which forms the basis of INPA/NCS.

Essentially, INPA is kinda a marco application that passes arguments and calls to the EDIABAS server, whereas SSS/DIS is much more commercial.

In a nutshell of course :)

Not that I would know, cause I dont have any of this software :)
