Hey guys,
Has anyone else had an issue where there is a sqeeking sound that comes from their aircon when the car is cold?
If the fan is on, the squeeking sound happens, if I turn the fan off it dissappears. It's made more prominent if I turn the car in a direction, moreso when going right than left. It seems temperature related, so I'm thinking its perhaps got to do with a cold fan motor/bearing?
Interestingly, fan speed itself has no impact on the sound for either volume or frequency.
It is hella annoying.
Next step is to try open up the dash and find the fan itself to recon or replace, just hoping someone else has had/fixed this issue before I send it.
