my take on it is it is a 320i. so he is not trying to make it something it isnt.

some chop stole the 2 from his 320i and now he or someone he knows has decided to make a plan to "fix" it.

I know those badges are not cheap. I personally would have removed the entire badge rather than do what he did, but each to their own.

the alignment is out, either both the 3 & 2 were nicked or everything after the 3, either way that was cock-eyed SOB that "fixed" it.
