Glue sticks, but mission to get off.... famous last words, I will never need to take it off.... thats what I also said...

The tape you looking for is called 3M VBH, call the 3M call center and they will point you to your local dealer, it most likely will be a packaging and stationary type store.

Really thin double sided tape. Sorry but had absolutely no marking on it, so I dont know who makes it.

Hi Calypso
Which dealer and what is the part number? What did you ask for, just double sided tape?
Gregmeister said:I recently put the thin-lip boot-spoiler on my 540i, using the dealer supplied tape, as I really didn't want to second-guess the way it would be done originally. Do not like the idea of using glue for this at all. But this is my preference. The tape is really thin, and unlike other double-sided tape I have seen before. If I was to give my advice on this, I would say just get the tape from the dealer. For an E39 it cost me R130.
