Help please. How do I activate the speedo cruise. I have tried but its not working. I pushed the I/O button and it appears on my dash. then I pressed the + button to set speed but when I release the accelerator it just drops in speed.

push it away from you to set and engage, the harder you press it will jump up in 10's.
Press down and it disengages, Push up and it increases the setting.

Do you have the buttons on the steering wheel or a stork

My e46 had the controls on the steering all I did to activate it was press the plus button and it start controling the speed pressing the clutch or brake cancels it. the IO button returns you to your speed after canceling it

Yup only works from 60km/h and up, or something like that.

You press the I/O button, this turns it on, then you press and hold down the plus (+) button till you can feel the car pulling by itself, then use the plus (+) and minus (-) controls to control the speed up and down to the desired value.
With it on you can press the accelerator to increase speed, if you let go it will go back to the speed you set it to. Pressing the clutch of the brake deactivates it. You can then press the button with the pic of a gauge and an arrow on it (looks like the light in the cluster) to have the car go to the last speed you set it to. Also after you have turned the system on you can use this button by holding it down to set the cruise control the the current speed you are driving at (I think)

Manual or auto had a Subaru and Elantra would only work in top gear. And only up to 162kph. My Peugeot worked in 4th and would even show 235kph on cluster display. Not that the car could top 200kph.

I think my prob was not holding the + button long enough.
