We just had such a case!
Client with previous mod but GENUINE software back in flash went for service ... previous mod has been detected by BMW diagnosis system and client has been contacted by BMW Motorplan that his MP has been cancelled with immediate effect.

Our client also believed what his previous "tuner" told him..... :thumbdo:

Same with piggybacks?

I heard they check the boost levels and if this is anywhere out of factory spec its over and done?

My motorplan ended about 20years ago so I dont know too much.

These things get recorded now!

so it doesn't matter if genuine software has been re-flashed or piggyback has been removed.....

If in doubt they will cancel MP and you have to prove that you didn't do it!
