Yep, don't know why some of the other sponsors even bother. You put in the effort to become a sponsor and spend some time on the forum, yet don't offer any other benefits.

As an example, through the forum, I have met Gizmo, Leonard and the Xcede guys, to name a few, and so far have spent a good few thousands with them.

Yes, on face value I am pushing for good pricing with my initial post, but it's still a very sound business proposition. Looks like some guys simply don't see a business opportunity if it smacks them in the face :thumbdo:

One question though, how is the after sales support going to work ?

Say I chip my 320d thats still on MP and I need to have the tune removed for a MP claim or I pick up any other issue and I need the tune removed, do I have to go to CT to have this done ?

Gents, the fact remains that with tuning there is risk and with risk I mean Motorplan.

Unfortunately no matter who the tuner is the software can be detected and your Motorplan will be cancelled. I cannot stress this enough.

Some get lucky and it is never noticed, rather in your case dont do software on the 320d until it is off Motorplan.

If you want to risk it, and neither I nor Rolf recommend you do then you can purchase our Promotec ECU Flasher which is an OBD powered hand-held flasher which stores a base file and two modified files. So for example the OEM File, a economy file and a performance file which you can easily flash between yourself with minimal stress or complication. The device also reads DTC error codes and can clear codes. We usually sell this including the two maps for R9999 - However Rolf may offer to lower the price as a special if people are keen.

With regards to general after sales support I will let Rolf make a suggestion for how we can arrange this. He is however currently in a plane away on business to Germany so I suspect he will only respond tomorrow evening if even. :thumbs:

Though I suspect, once the JHB guys get a taste of our software I am sure we will be making a trip up at least monthly to work on cars.

Just popped ATM tuning solutions an email now, they charge R4500.00 for the x35i.... +-45kw and 110Nm Gain btw
And they will flast back to Standard when you need to go for services etc... for FREE..

Excede quoted me R3k cos it's N/A and that was without even trying to negotiate.

Not sure if the pricing provided here is focused around turbo applications or whether that doesn't make a difference as the work carried out is similar.
