Have u check the owners manual? I would suggest whatever it states in there. There's and article in Jan 2015 car mag about using plugs not recommended by the manufacturer. Although going a step above the minimum requirement isn't a bad idea.
As far as I know bmw doesn't use what they call 'waste spark ignition', as each cylinder has its own coil pack. Apparently copper core plugs don't last with regards to the former

So I used Liqui Moli engine flush before the oil service, and put in Liqui Moli injector cleaner before I change plugs. I got myself a set of platinum-iridium Bosch plugs. Thanks for the help guys. Ps also fitted a K&N air filter. :rollsmile:
