Soon to be first time BMW owner

Hi there everyone,

I have been a Merc driver for the past 4 years with my 1992 230E Sportline, I've loved the car and it has been good to me. But it is time to move on and change teams I think

Quite possibly I am buying a beautiful looking E36 328i tonight. I'm very excited about making the move over the Bavaria.

But I am sure to be spending a fair bit of time on the site once I have my car and looking forward to meeting the folks down here in Cape Twon at the first opportunity.

She's served me well, we've bumped heads a few times, but for 90% of the time it was an unspoilt relationship

But funny how as I get older I want something with just a bit more bite, and then a bit more and more.

So after making all the arrangements with the seller, and while I was on my way to finalise the paperwork and money, he let me know someone bought the car. So much for people keeping to a set arrangement

But luck have it something did catch my eye today, tonight I'm heading out to look at a 1985 318i Coupe that is apparently in an incredible condition. Being sold from someone's estate out of the Free State. Could be a really nice project car to work with.

Will keep everyone updated
