Review on those Pirellis please:rollsmile:

Can give you a short one. My dad has them on his E Class Merc in 16"... Good mileage, low road noise, excellent grip in both dry and wet. No complaints :chef:

Well spotted there Chris, so I actually ended up with them by chance. The contours had Bridgestone RE002's which I really enjoy as I had them on the 330d as well but 2 of them needed to be changed at some point and I was planning on going with RE002's again to keep the set.
While fitting them these Pirellis were going at a decent price and I heard some good reviews on them so I thought I'll give it a try and change all 4.
I haven't even done 50km's with them as yet but really impressed so far, it has a softer feel compared to the Bridge's, Conti's and Michellins. It's absolutely silent and the grip and overall ride is pretty consistent.
I'll keep you posted as I wear them down abit but so far I'm impressed.

"Good mileage" and "excellent grip" cant go together.

Depends entirely how you drive... The tyres are on a big luxury sedan, my dad doesnt drive his car hard... They lasted a good 40 000km and the car felt planted in the wet when I drove it. Even through standing water. Yes thats going to be a combination of a well designed car and good tyres...

I had to add this pic taken yesterday, this pic is special not because of the car but because of the company I had at the time! A true legend and gentleman...
I also had the pleasure of sitting in an enginered masterpiece in he's garage, Thank you Sir!

Yep we were sitting on the opposite pavement having a smoke and chatting and admiring the lines of the car.
It did look particularly appealing in the late afternoon with the top down.
Moose has a way of bringing out the best in a car with tastefull mods.

Lol, such a character that he smeared fecal matter on his walls!

I really like the std centres with the polished dish, reminds me of my old 325i.

Thanks gents!
Would love to find a hardtop and one in Orient Blue would be a bonus.

@Gizmo - nice looking 325i, these E36ers are legends

Not a major update but finally got down to fitting the semi clear tail lights on the sedan, I know we all have mixed views on the ambers vs the clears but I think the clears look better on a grey car.
Btw, sorry for the dirty car this rain is keeping me busy.
