I got a bit of cash left at the end of the month. As i am a student its not much. You guys can vote what u think i should rather look at.

CAI
Full free flow
Cobra Detector (Latest)
Window Tint
Xenon conversion

or put it away and save up for OEM 17/18" Wheels, which would probably take till the end of the year.

PS. Its +-R3000.

Thanks in advance

Window tint 35%. You will love it everytime you look at your car and it is an important safety feature:thumbsup:

I would say start with TNT headers (Masterparts sells them +- 2k) then at a later stage go for a full free flow and retune.

gaz, the tnt headers are R1250 from masterparts, i priced them 2 weeks ago.

Suppose the e36 headers are more expensive for some reason. Unless the guy gave me the wrong price. Are you sure that price is inclusive?

yep, and the e36 are the same as e46, they both the BB02 tnt headers.

You forget, i'm driving an e36 now as well :)

I can get a full free flow at G&C for R2000 but its gonna cost R1000 to reprogram the Chip again and not sure how it would sound. Don't know if the same would go for the headers regarding the Chip? I like the sound of the car at the moment and just thought sound wise the CAI could only improve the sound and not impact it negatively. As the decat has already been done i don't know how much power is to be gained from a full free flow. Or the headers?

LED Angels look funny with Yellow halogen, even if they are Nightbreakers.

Im just waiting for Skynz to come down to do the windows :) if we ever get enough people:(

No i don't have a strut brace yet. I know its a stupid question freerider but would it be worth it?

if you just looking for sound and extra ponies then dont bother, but if you enjoy pushing the envelope in corners then a strut brace is more than worth it. The entirw front of the car feels more planted in corners

Go free flow chris., you know you want the power! I'm sure at the end of free flow and reprogram you will have reached the 150kw mark. You can do the cosmetics later

you will eventually get annoyed with the exhaust, no matter what anyone says.

however, driving at night, you will always get the best out of xenons

Why would the Chip need to be reprogrammed
I was explained that the UniQ chip never loses it's memory...anyway; i just had my backbox done and buddy.....R650 well spend
One hell of a difference in my car's performance..
(I cant get this bloody smileys to work)..lol

I would go for xenons first option.. you will never look back (if its done properly)

then 20% tint :)

So the CAI and Laser detector are out? Xenons i don't know if i should buy originals and convert like Sankekur posted or do a DIY conversion as Andrew once posted which comes to about R1500.

@speeddemon. G&C actually wanted me to do the chip and free flow at the same time because they said if i chose to do the Chip and later want to do the exhaust they have to reprogram the chip again to accomodate the change. That would cost me an extra R1000 but i never thought i would want a full free flow and was advised against it by powerflow when i did my decat instead because he has had numerous complaints of the droning being too loud and guys coming back after a month and saying they can't take it any more.

Ive been looking at tinting for a while now and Skynz's work looks awesome. Tinted windows would really set off the smoked lights but don't know when hed be able to come down to Cape Town.

Im actually getting really interested in the strut brace now....

For the xenons.. try getting BMW projector lenses.. then you could get them fitted to your headlights & get a HID kit..

So for you it looks like its now down to 2 options...

strut brace / xenons... both would be great mods to your car

Does anyone have experience with Wildcat exhausts? Sound, quality? Or maybe a Remus back box. Is there anyone that supplies them in Cape Town?

If not then Tint and/or strut brace.

@Andrew. How about that DIY you posted few weeks back? U think its worth it? Maybe should just stick to OEM and give Bruces BMW a call. Check if they have second hand ones.
