Hi Guys.

Over the weekend after the go karting I followed our fellow fanatic kabal home to get my hands on a little strip of di-noc to do my glovebox trim.

Kabal was kind enough to give me what he had left so I could do a few more trim pieces. Big  to him, he is an awesome fanatic.

Here are some pics:

Just did one mirror cap for now. want to see how well it holds up in the elements for the week:

This was a #$%^& to remove:

Ash tray surrounds also done:

All together now:

Still plan to do more in future. Just need to order some more.

And just to add. My girlfriend helped me do 90% of the work. Especially the shift surround. Big thanks to her, could never have done it alone.

Actually quite easy to work with right

Looks great... now you need to clean all the other bits and apply a dedicated product to bring out that 'new look' in the plastics and leather! :=):

that looks really good, how hard is it to work with this product?
looks very professional.

It is so easy. all you need is an exacto knife and a hair dryer or heat gun. I cant stress enough how great it is.

I even covered the back of my cellphone and the light switch plate in my room. Looks great.

Looks great. I think I am going to go this route too as I am struggling to find real CF and fear that laying CF on existing trim will make it too think and puffy.

You know what is funny. About 20 mins ago I was at my car looking if there is anything else to do in CF sometime and I thought to myself. I wonder when Sank is going to see this thread and complain about exposed Carbon Fiber. LoL. No joke.

With regards to the auto box. I actually priced the necessary bits for a manual conversion earlier this month. But I'm not sure yet. I will hate the manual in traffic but love it on the open roads.

You wont be sorry with the Di-noc. If you want to maybe see it in person sometime that can be arranged.

Out of curiosity isn't it easier and cheaper to just sell the auto and buy a manual 325i than to do the manual swop??
