AWESOME Bru!!! I'm also inclined to support your decision, because of the V8. Everyday driving is far more important for me, than dynamic ability. That V8 roar everyday is YUM!!!!!

Either car though is an absolute blessing to own!

Many happy kilometres bud!

The s is only coming to SA in 3 months from now. Well that's what I heard from my dealer anyway.
Even if it was available immediately I would have not taken it. I don't think an extra 25kw is worth 170k.
List price on my car is just over a bar excl extras.

Nothing Mo-tronix cant give you for just a few Thousand Rands...

Congrats! That new one is a beast, considering it as well just waiting to see one in the flesh.. Also unsure if the S is worth it, but regretted not getting the P31 on my current :hammerhead:

Many safe miles, keen for the pictures!

Congrats on the new purchase. I think that there is a big difference between a NA V8 and a charged one, although the new C63 is still a V8 it lacks the sound and will not give you the feeling you would get from the E9X M3 or previous C63.

I had the X5M and although it was a monster, it lacked the tone and throatiness of a NA V8, just my 2c, not trying to spoil your fun.

From what I've heard from the different reviews, Mercedes has nailed the exhaust note. I agree with you though that NA will always be best.

BMW for me still hasn't managed a car with that spine tingling exhaust note out the factory. Even the e9x didn't sound as nice as the C63... Is it perhaps because of the difference in displacement?

I agree that M division didn't do justice to the E9x M3, hence the reason for my exhaust upgrade, they paid too much of attention paid to emission control so it was than just displacement at play.
